‘02-Halos take 3 of 4 from ‘85 Royals

Game 1

Only decent game of the three game series. Charlie Liebrandt goes the distance in a 4 hit shutout.  Steve Balboni hits his second homerun of the season to help in the victory. 

 

 

Game 2

The Royals come from behind to tie the game in the 9th inning to send it into extra innings. Dan(how is this guy going to protect any lead with his sorry ass stats) Quisenberry easily coughs up 2 runs on 4 hits to lose the game 5-3.  Scott Spiezio had 3 hits and 2 runs in the win.  Scot Schoenweis pitches 1.1 innings of relief for the win.

Game 3

Saberhagen loses in a complete game 3-2.

Game 4

Frank White hit a homerun in a 6-3 loss. George Brett went 4 for 4 with no RBIs.  John Lackey gets the win and Weber earns the save.
